By default, queries on the CHANGES table only report the short description. This is inline with the output of 'p4 changes'. To get the long, or full change description, you need to pass in the P4OPTIONS keyword 'longdesc'
. This is the equivalent of running "p4 changes -l". For example:
SELECT change, description
change > 800 and P4OPTIONS='longdesc';
The P4OPTIONS keyword also accepts a value of 'integrated', that can be used along with changes, jobs and fixes queries. More on the P4OPTIONS field can be found in the P4Report User Guide schema entries for tables to which it applies:http://www.perforce.com/perforce/doc.current/manuals/p4report/aa_schema.html#1047004
