Generation 3 Integration Engine

The Perforce Server integration engine powers the p4 integrate command which enables propagating changes between files and streams. This article provides links to general information on the integration command and specific information on the generation 3 integration engine.

The generation 3 integration engine was first introduced in the 2011.1 version of the Perforce Server (P4D).  Beginning with the 2013.2 release of P4D, the generation 3 engine becomes the default.
