Where can I find the release notes for my product version?

The release notes for currently supported products can be found on the Perforce website and on the Perforce FTP site.

The top-level for documentation and applications/installers is This contains release-specific folders, such as 'r15.2' for the 2015.2 releases. Release notes are in a sub-directory 'doc/user'. For example, the 2015.2 release notes can be found here:

Navigating to the same sub-directory structure in a different "rXX.Y" folder should bring you to the corresponding release notes. Note that the ftp site does not contain a complete set of all release notes. If your version is not available, please contact Perforce Software's Technical Support team for assistance.

The Perforce website only links to the release notes for the latest release. The current release notes for all products are linked from the following page:

Beginning with version 2010.1, the website URL format changed to user the /rNN.N syntax. For example:

C:\Program Files\Perforce\relnotes.txt

For P4V, the Perforce Visual Client, the default location is:

C:\Program Files\Perforce\p4vnotes.txt
