Problem
How do I connect P4toDB to my SSL enabled Perforce server?
Solution
P4toDB Release 2012.1 and later supports SSL connections to an SSL enabled Perforce Server.

To connect using SSL:
  • In your P4toDB configuration file add the property
    P4SSL = TRUE.

    Your P4PORT's value is the same whether using SLL or not.

  • add the required unlimited strength JCE (Java Cryptography Extension) to your Java installation.  See Using P4Java and P4Eclipse with SSL enabled Perforce Servers for more information.

  • Run p4 trust to store the server's fingerprint.
